Monaco’s EuroLeague final executioner replaces Fabien Causeur in Milan

Olimpia Milan has secured its first major signing for next season. The Lombard club has officially announced the signing of Marko Guduric, the guard who just won the EuroLeague with Fenerbahce Istanbul. At 30, the Serbian international has committed to multiple seasons with Olimpia where he will take Fabien Causeur’s place as a creative left-handed shooting guard.
A European champion with an impressive record
Guduric arrives in Milan crowned with his European title won with Fenerbahce against AS Monaco. In the final, the Serbian delivered a remarkable performance with 19 points (4/5 2-pointers, 3/5 3-pointers), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and a 27 efficiency rating. His decisive three-pointer in the last minute sealed the Turkish victory.

Throughout the 2024-2025 season, Guduric averaged 10.9 points and 3.2 assists per game in EuroLeague, with excellent percentages: 88.3% free throws and 37.6% three-pointers. These statistics demonstrate his consistency and efficiency in important moments.
The resume of the player trained at Red Star Belgrade is impressive. With Fenerbahce, where he played over two periods (2017-2019 and 2020-2025), he won four Turkish championships and three Turkish Cups. He had also tasted success with Red Star, winning two Serbian championships and two Adriatic Leagues in 2016 and 2017.
Valuable international experience
The Serbian international also brings his rich experience with the national team. Bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Guduric also won silver at EuroBasket 2017 and the 2023 FIBA World Cup. His stint in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies (2019-2020) completes an already impressive CV.
« I am happy and excited to start a new chapter of my career in a legendary, well-structured club that I have always heard spoken of in glowing terms, » declared the new Olimpia player. « I can’t wait to wear Olimpia’s red jersey and play in front of our supporters, to build something special with my new teammates. »
With 285 EuroLeague games under his belt and 2712 points scored in the competition, Guduric brings the high-level experience Milan needs to return to European heights.
