In the span of three days, Landerneau Bretagne Basket (LBB) has announced the signing of five players. They are Harmoni Turner (1.78m, 23), Sophia Elenga (1.84m, 30), Hélène Jakovljevic (1.77m, 24), Rebecca Tsobgny (1.65m, 22) and Elizabeth Balogun (1.85m, 24). In full reconstruction, the club has already filled five of the seven departures that occurred this summer.

Sophia Elenga: An experienced defensive asset

At 30 years old, Sophia Elenga will remain in LBWL next season. Like her sister Kekelly Elenga, she will play for LBB (Kekelly played there between 2015 and 2017). Coming from Chartres, the small forward (who can also play power forward) will strengthen the Wolves’ interior sector. In 2024-2025, she averaged 4.1 points and 3.6 rebounds per game (second-best rebounder on her team).

Her future coach, Wani Muganguzi, describes her as a « Swiss Army knife, capable of playing multiple positions ». « With strong rebounding skills and one-on-one abilities, she will be a major asset in our defensive system, » continues the northern coach.

Hélène Jakovljevic and Rebecca Tsobgny: LF2 power

Announced the day before, Hélène Jakovljevic and Rebecca Tsobgny have much in common. They are offensive-minded point guards and both come from LF2, from Aulnoye and Montbrison respectively. A former LBB player (2019-2020), Jakovljevic sought more responsibilities at the lower level, with Toulouse (2022 LF2 champion) then Aulnoye, where she played for three seasons. Now an established point guard, the LF2’s best passer averaged 9.7 points with 46.9% shooting, 10.1 assists and 6.2 rebounds in 33 minutes.

Harmoni Turner: A bet on the future

The 24-year-old guard will begin her professional career in Brittany after four NCAA seasons at Harvard University. Last season, she averaged 22.5 points and 5.4 rebounds for the Crimson.

Elizabeth Balogun: The big catch

Finally, Elizabeth Balogun will also join LBB, becoming the fifth recruit to join Finistère. Coming from Charnay, the small forward (who can also play shooting guard) was part of the Burgundian epic that reached the LBWL playoff semifinals. With CBBS, she averaged 9.1 points with 41% shooting including 31.5% from three-point range and 4.1 rebounds per game.

Current Landerneau Bretagne Basket 2025-2026 roster:

  • Point Guard: Hélène Jakovljevic / Rebecca Tsobgny
  • Shooting Guard: Harmoni Turner
  • Small Forward: Elizabeth Balogun / Sophia Elenga
  • Power Forward: Adja Kane
  • Center: Evelyn Akhator
