
Kawhi Leonard Leads Clippers to Balanced Record Against Knicks

The New York Knickssecured a convincing victory over the Utah Jazzwith a score of 134-117 on Wednesday in Salt Lake City. This performance allowed Tom Thibodeau’s team to end a two-game losing streak and get back on the winning track.
Jalen Brunson spearheaded this victory with 28 points, along with 8 assists and 3 steals. The Knicks guard perfectly orchestrated his team’s play, particularly during New York’s spectacular comeback.

OG Anunoby also contributed with 22 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns posted a complete performance with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The Knicks’ offensive efficiency resulted in a remarkable 52% field goal percentage and 17 converted 3-pointers.
The game started in favor of the Jazz, who led 49-31 at the beginning of the second quarter. Utah came out firing by converting 11 of their first 13 three-point attempts, with Brice Sensabaugh, Ace Bailey and Kevin Love combining for 7 three-pointers in the first 14 minutes.
Sensabaugh finished as the Jazz’s leading scorer with 29 points, followed by Bailey (21 points). Keyonte George contributed 14 points and 5 assists before leaving the court in the middle of the third quarter due to a right hamstring injury.
The Knicks’ response materialized with a decisive 20-4 run spanning the third and fourth quarters. Jordan Clarkson punctuated this sequence with two consecutive baskets to give New York a 101-94 lead. Brunson definitively tipped the game in his team’s favor with a 3-pointer with 1.6 seconds left in the third quarter, before the Knicks extended their lead to as many as 22 points.
