Jamuni McNeace (2.08 m, 29 years old), who had a convincing season with Cholet Basket, will remain in the Mauges next year. The club has officially announced a two-year extension for their American center, a key element for the 2024-2025 season.
He’s staying in Cholet!🔥😍

Since arriving at the start of last season, Jamuni McNeace has established himself in Cholet’s paint. In Betclic ELITE, he averaged 8.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 26 games. These solid statistics are complemented by his strong performances in European competition: in FIBA Europe Cup, he averaged 10.7 points and 5.7 rebounds in 13 games for the C4 semi-finalist.
His mobility, verticality, and rim protection ability impressed the Cholet staff, who wanted to secure his presence in the roster for the next two seasons. In an interior sector that could evolve this summer, with the expected departure of his fellow center Bastien Vautier, McNeace represents an important anchor point. « I’m very happy to count on Jamuni for next season. His mobility, commitment, and human values were decisive in our great season, » says his coach Fabrice Lefrançois.
As Cholet attempts to build on continuity after a successful season (FIBA Europe Cup semi-finalist, Betclic ELITE playoffs participation), the stability provided by this extension aligns with the club’s strategy of betting on reliable and already integrated profiles.
