Nicolo Melli, a crucial component of Fenerbahçe‘s frontcourt rotation, suffered a foot injury during the quarterfinal clash and will require surgery. The 35-year-old Italian international is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks, dealing a substantial blow to the Turkish powerhouse’s ambitions across multiple competitions.

Selon insider Matteo Andreani, several names are circulating to reinforce the Istanbul-based frontcourt, including Charles Bassey. The Nigerian center recently played two minutes against Mohamed Diawara‘s New York Knicks, marking his first NBA appearance since the preseason in October.
