The EuroLeague Women Play-In stage is set after an intense conclusion to the Second Round. Eight teams have secured their spots in the knockout phase, keeping their championship dreams alive for the 2025-2026 season.

From Group E, Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring, Spar Girona, ZVVZ USK Praha and Beretta Famila Schio advanced to the Play-Ins. Schio claimed the final spot with a crucial 77-69 victory over Bourges in their head-to-head battle. The Italian side controlled the majority of the contest, benefiting from a 4-for-5 performance from 3-points and 18 total points from Kitija Laksa. Jessica Shepard added 13 points and seven rebounds for the winning side.

 

Decisive matchups determine final berths

Group F saw Fenerbahce Opet, Basket Landes, Umana Reyer Venezia and Casademont Zaragoza secure their advancement. Venezia earned their spot with a commanding 69-55 wire-to-wire victory over Valencia, with Kaila Charles delivering a 14-point and 11-rebound double-double. Meanwhile, Zaragoza took care of business against DVTK HUNTHERM with a comfortable 66-40 win, getting contributions from up and down their roster.

The Play-In matchups feature intriguing pairings across both Semi-Final and Quarter-Final brackets. In the Semi-Final Play-Ins, Group E winners Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring will face Group F runners-up Basket Landes, while Group F champions Fenerbahce Opet take on Group E runners-up Spar Girona.

The Quarter-Final Play-Ins showcase defending champions ZVVZ USK Praha against Casademont Zaragoza, and an all-Italian affair between Umana Reyer Venezia and Beretta Famila Schio. All series will be played in a best-of-three format from February 18 to March 3, with higher seeded teams hosting Games 1 and 3 if necessary.

Winners of the Semi-Final Play-Ins will advance directly to the Semi-Finals with coveted byes, while losing teams join Quarter-Final Play-In winners in the Final Six. The championship finale returns to Zaragoza, Spain from April 15-19, where Quarter-Finals and Semi-Finals will determine Europe’s premier women’s basketball champion.
