Dubai Basketball delivered what can only be described as one of the most memorable performances of the EuroLeague season, stunning Zalgiris Kaunas on the road with a remarkable 77-65 victory. The visitors found themselves in an extremely difficult position entering the final quarter, trailing by 14 points at 39-53 after 30 minutes of play.

The situation appeared even more desperate when the gap extended to 15 points early in the fourth period, with the scoreboard reading 41-56 in favor of the Lithuanian hosts. However, what followed was nothing short of spectacular basketball.

Dubai’s Historic Fourth Quarter Surge

Dubai Basketball completely transformed the contest by erupting for 38 points in the final quarter while simultaneously locking down defensively to allow just 12 points to Zalgiris. Possession by possession, they methodically chipped away at the deficit before seizing complete control in the closing minutes to secure a massive road victory.

Avramović led the scoring for Dubai with 15 points, supported by Caboclo‘s 13-point contribution. For Zalgiris, Wright topped the scoring with 15 points while Butkevicius added 12 in the losing effort.

With this remarkable comeback victory, Dubai Basketball improved their record to 19-17 and remain firmly positioned in the race for a spot in the Top 10 as the regular season approaches its final stretch.
