Champagne Basket will start its 2025-2026 season with Djordje Milosevic (1.99m, 32 years old) in its ranks, according to our information. The Serbian wing had an excellent stint with the Marne club in 2022-2023, before suffering a serious injury.

Milosevic, a true swiss army knife

With Samuta Avea injured, Champagne Basket sought reinforcement in the wing position for the next two months. Free since losing the promotion playoffs final with Alliance Sport Alsace, Djordje Milosevic has agreed to fill in for his former club. A versatile player, the Jagodina native has become a solid Pro B (now ELITE 2) player since his arrival in 2021. First excellent at Évreux (15.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4 assists), where he won the Leaders Cup Pro B, he then joined Champagne Basket in 2022.

Performing well in Marne (averaging 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in his 22 games played), his season ended on April 1st due to a serious knee injury. After a one-month stint in Bosnia-Herzegovina with Borac Nektar in spring 2024 (8.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists), he signed with ASA where he proved crucial (8.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists in 45 games played) in Gries-Souffelweyersheim’s campaign. At Champagne Basket, Djordje Milosevic will try to start his season well under Vincent Dumestre’s guidance.
