A logical progression for Angelo Warner
At 33, Angelo Warner will experience his first major first-division championship in Western Europe. After a very successful first season in Pro B with Boulazac Basket Dordogne (12.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 33 games), the American-Bosnian point guard will continue his adventure in Perigord and accompany the club in its return to Betclic ELITE.
After playing at Morehead State in NCAA, the Orlando (Florida) native wasn’t drafted in 2015. Since then, he has traveled to many countries (Cyprus, Mozambique, Bosnia, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Belarus, Russia) before settling in France in summer 2023. For two years, he has been one of BBD’s leaders, named in the Pro B All-Season First Team 2023-2024 alongside Jean-Marc Pansa, and led the team to the Pro B French Championship title in 2024.
Warner will now have the mission to capitalize on his experience in Betclic ELITE, a denser and more demanding championship, but one in which his composure, basketball IQ and consistency could still prove effective.
