By defeating Orleans in a last-minute thriller, Boulazac is one step away from Betclic ELITE!

Alexandre Ménard has been elected Pro B Regular Season Coach of the Year. The former Le Mans and Rouen coach could secure Boulazac’s promotion to Betclic ELITE during the final round of the championship on Tuesday, May 13.
After joining Périgord in 2022 as Nikola Antic’s successor, Alexandre Ménard has achieved multiple successful seasons with BBD. After reaching the Pro B playoff finals last season, Boulazac Basket Dordogne now has the opportunity to secure their promotion to the elite division by winning their final match against Chartres on Tuesday, May 13. This would be a great achievement for the Cholet native, who has only experienced the top division as head coach when he temporarily replaced Erman Kunter at MSB for a few months in 2017.
