A return to Turkey to bounce back?
Signed to a two-year deal with Monaco in summer 2024, Vitto Brown failed to establish himself in the Roca Team’s rotation, particularly in EuroLeague. Despite 23 appearances in Europe’s most prestigious competition, his statistics remained modest (4.4 points and 2.5 rebounds on average). In Betclic ELITE, the American contributed slightly more with 7.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 20 games.
The former Wisconsin player, who played for Le Mans in 2020-2021 and Turkish club Pınar Karşıyaka between 2022 and 2024, seems ready to revive his career in a league he knows well. According to Buğra Uzar, talks are well advanced between Beşiktaş and the player, although no agreement has been finalized yet.
Beşiktaş continues its ambitious recruitment
Qualified for next season’s EuroCup, Beşiktaş is looking to strengthen its roster with players experienced at the European level. At 29, Brown has solid experience in European leagues (Greece, Spain, Turkey, France) and could establish himself as a reliable rotation player in Istanbul. It remains to be seen if an agreement will be quickly reached to make this new challenge official.
