Léopold Levillain: From Lunel to Long Beach via Cholet
Born in Montpellier and a long-time rugby player before switching to basketball in Lunel, Léopold Levillain had a strong season with Cholet Basket in the Espoirs championship, averaging 9.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and more than one block per game in 19 appearances. He also saw time with the professional team, playing 10 games and totaling 11 rebounds and 3 blocks in less than 8 minutes per game.
Petar Majstorovic: From ASVEL to Syracuse, then to the West Coast
Of Serbian origin but trained in Alsace, Petar Majstorovic completed his first NCAA season in 2024-2025 with Syracuse. In the highly competitive ACC conference, he played 31 games, averaging 2.6 points and 3.3 rebounds, with significant playing time in several games.

Before crossing the Atlantic, he had already shown solid performance in the Espoirs ELITE championship with ASVEL (9.7 points and 7 rebounds in 34 games), where he was on loan from Alliance Sport Alsace (ASA).
For Chris Acker, the former ACC player represents « a profile with a high basketball IQ developed through both his European and American experience. He understands the challenge ahead and is ready to take it on. »
With these two French recruits, Long Beach State strengthens an already well-stocked frontcourt, notably with the return of starter Derrick Michael Xzavierro, the arrival of prospect Dallas Washington, and center Demarshay Johnson Jr. (former San Diego State).
