« Still injured », Nick Calathes hasn’t helped Monaco against Barcelona yet
EuroLeague - Vassilis Spanoulis explained Nick Calathes' non-selection for the first three EuroLeague playoff quarter-final games: the point guard is still injured, he assures.

For the first three EuroLeague playoff quarter-final games, Vassilis Spanoulis hasn’t changed his roster composition. Like Juhann Begarin and Georgios Papagiannis, Nick Calathes remained in street clothes for the first three games.
The Greek-American point guard, who knows these playoff games inside out, has the profile to help a team that conceded 100 points at the Palau Blaugrana this Wednesday, April 30, and couldn’t stop the bleeding during the second quarter when Mike James (12 assists) was on the bench.
« He is still injured, » his coach Vassilis Spanoulis assured during the post-game 3 press conference, annoyed by the question. « After defeats, we always talk about players who don’t play, » he complained.
However, it remains to be seen whether he will modify the 12 selected players or even his rotations in upcoming games. Listed on the game sheet, Donatas Motiejunas, Vitto Brown and Petr Cornelie didn’t enter the game.
