Samuel Eyango-Dingo joins Loon-Plage, alongside Mouhamed Thiam

Loon-Plage continues to build its roster for the 2025-2026 season in Nationale 1. The northern club has just announced the arrival of two former centers from Nanterre 92’s youth academy, Samuel Eyango-Dingo and Mouhamed Thiam. The latter returns to the club.
Strengthened frontcourt with two experienced centers
Samuel Eyango-Dingo will be the Toon’s new center for next season. The big man comes from Champagne Basket, where he had limited playing time (3.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in less than 10 minutes over 22 games), after establishing himself in Nationale 1 with Mulhouse. The former center of the French 2001 generation will be eager to revive his career in NM1.
This arrival comes along with the return of Mouhamed Thiam, who will also play as center and comes from… Mulhouse. There, the former NBA Draft prospect averaged 5.1 points and 4.1 rebounds in 39 games for the NM1 playoff finalist. This double signing provides Loon-Plage with a solid rotation in the paint to face the challenges of the French third division, allowing them to approach the 2025-2026 season in Nationale 1 with confidence.
