Player Profile
When P.J. Hall arrived at Clemson in 2020, few could have imagined that this center from South Carolina would become one of the most memorable players in the program's recent history. Yet the young man who had already tasted success at Dorman High School — with two state championships and the Gatorade Player of the Year award under his belt — was about to turn a promising college career into a true rise to the top.
Paul Jerome Hall embodies steady progression. Starting off the bench in his early seasons with the Tigers, he methodically refined his game year after year, developing a formidable power style in the paint. That evolution peaked during his senior season, when his 18.3 points per game average propelled Clemson all the way to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament — a performance that left a lasting impression.
Despite his undeniable collegiate impact, Hall went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft. But the 22-year-old big man did not give up. After showcasing his abilities during the Summer League with Denver, he earned a two-way contract with the Nuggets and their G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold, in July 2024.
That signing represents the natural outcome of a journey built on perseverance and continuous improvement. From Spartanburg to the professional hardwood, Hall has turned every step into a springboard to the next. Now a rookie in the NBA system, he begins a new chapter with the same determination that carried him from the Clemson bench to the heights of college basketball.
