Player Profile
When Miles Norris secured his two-way contract with the Boston Celtics in 2025, he completed a journey as winding as it was formative. Born in San Francisco and raised in San Diego, this versatile forward built his determination across three different high schools, ultimately crowning his developmental years with a NEPSAC Class AAA regular season championship with Brewster Academy in 2018.
Ranked 78th overall prospect by ESPN, Norris began his college career at Oregon before making a remarkable stop at City College of San Francisco. It was there that he revealed his potential by leading his team to a perfect 30-win, no-loss season, a performance that opened the doors to UC Santa Barbara, where he flourished from 2020 to 2023.
Going undrafted in 2023, the California native refused to give up. He accumulated experience with the Atlanta Hawks and their affiliate College Park Skyhawks, crossed the Atlantic to discover the Turkish league with Çağdaş Bodrumspor, then returned to the G League with the Memphis Hustle. This professional odyssey forged a well-rounded player, recognized for his versatility as a forward, his three-point shooting accuracy, and his notable defensive impact through blocks and steals.
Norris's international experience, rare for a player of his age, brought him valuable tactical maturity. His unconventional path, from California courts to Turkish hardwood, is a testament to a perseverance that could well make him a pleasant surprise on the Celtics' roster.

- Averaged 11.6 points and 5.5 rebounds in 29.8 minutes per game across his three seasons at UC Santa Barbara
- Set his personal scoring record with 14 points in the Pac-12 Tournament with Oregon as a freshman
