Player Profile
When Isaiah Stevens steps onto the court, it's his basketball IQ that does the talking. This 24-year-old point guard, developed in the Texas high school circuit where he led Allen High School to a state title, built his reputation on exceptional court vision and a natural leadership that goes beyond statistics.
At Colorado State, Stevens rewrote the program's history. Over five seasons, he broke records while embodying the soul of the Rams. His masterpiece remains the qualification for the 2022 NCAA Tournament, the program's first since 2013. An achievement that reflects his ability to elevate his teammates' level — the hallmark of elite point guards.
Basketball runs in the Stevens family. His older brother Barrington paved the way to professional play, creating a brotherly rivalry that fueled Isaiah's ambition. His AAU years alongside future talents like Greg Brown III also forged his competitive character.
Undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, Stevens didn't give up. After stints with Miami and the Sioux Falls Skyforce in the G League, he seized his opportunity with Sacramento. His two-way contract with the Kings, signed in July 2025, rewards his perseverance and adaptability.
Stevens embodies a generation of smart point guards who make up for physical limitations with sharp game-reading abilities. In Sacramento, he aims to prove that his leadership style can thrive at the highest level.
