Orleans Loiret Basket (OLB) starts its home season this Saturday, October 4, against Chorale de Roanne. As this anticipated event approaches, the club can count on renewed popular fervor: never since 2007-2008 had Orleans registered so many season ticket holders.

Record broken after more than 15 years

The Loiret club has announced crossing the symbolic threshold of 954 subscriptions reports Ici Orleans, surpassing the previous record set during the 2007-2008 season when OLB was playing in Pro A. This is a strong sign of fan loyalty, at a time when the team returns to Elite 2 with ambitions to quickly climb back to the highest level.

CO’Met ready to rock

This figure also illustrates the appeal of CO’Met, the arena inaugurated two years ago, which offers fans a modern and friendly experience. Saturday evening, attendance is expected to be high with an electric atmosphere to support the players against a Chorale de Roanne team that will pose a serious test.

A sign of confidence for the future

By successfully mobilizing so many subscribers, OLB proves that its relationship with its audience remains strong. This gives extra spirit to a team that started its season well by winning in Nantes (72-87) before losing heavily in Pau. If OLB wants to play a leading role this year, they now know they can count on massive support in their home court.
