Nikola Mirotic (2.08m, 34 years old), AS Monaco’s star, earned the MVP title for EuroLeague Round 2 thanks to his outstanding performance against Dubai Basketball. The former Real Madrid player, naturalized Spanish, delivered a masterclass on Friday, October 3rd before taking a step back this Sunday in Betclic ELITE against Elan Chalon (10 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists in 22 minutes).

Mirotic, an MVP in full control

Against Dubai Basketball, Nikola Mirotic needed only 20 minutes and 16 seconds to make his mark. The power forward compiled 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals, for a performance index rating of 32 – the highest among winning players in Round 2. EuroLeague reminded that this weekly trophy is the eleventh of his career, putting him tied for the fifth-highest total in competition history.

Allan Dokossi top rebounder of the round

Wade Baldwin (Fenerbahce) finished as the top scorer of the second round with 36 points, while Kostas Sloukas (Panathinaikos) recorded the only double-double (18 points, 11 assists). On the French side, Allan Dokossi (Paris Basketball) shined on the boards with 13 rebounds, the highest mark of this second round, and Bastien Vautier (ASVEL) stood out on defense with 2 blocks.
