Maye Touré, Charnay’s new prospect to establish herself in La Boulangère Wonderligue

Maye Touré (1.91 m, 23 years old), recent Utah University player, is the first recruit of Charnay Basket Bourgogne Sud (CBBS) for the 2025-2026 season. The post player, who came through Bourges’ youth academy, aims to establish herself permanently in La Boulangère Wonderligue.
An ambitious rookie for Charnay
Like Johanna Muzet or Maëva Djadi-Tabdi before her, Maye Touré returns to France after a long American college career. Signed for two seasons by CBBS, the Athis-Mons native arrives in Burgundy with impressive credentials. She just completed her fifth and final NCAA season, her only one with Utah, after spending four years with the Rhode Island Rams.
A solid power forward, Touré finished the 2024-2025 season averaging 13.2 points with 45.1% shooting accuracy, 6.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 blocks per game. She was her team’s second-best scorer while leading in rebounds and blocks. Utah completed their season with a strong record (22 wins to 9 losses), advancing to the March Madness tournament.
CBBS, now well-versed in scouting talent across the Atlantic, sees her as an important piece to strengthen their frontcourt following the departure of Maeva Djaldi-Tabdi. Her versatile profile, mobility, and rim-protecting ability should quickly help her find her place in La Boulangère Wonderligue.
At Charnay, she will find an environment conducive to young French players with NCAA experience, with the clear intention of taking her game to the next level on the professional stage under Stéphane Leite’s guidance.
