Maël Hamon-Crespin expected at Champagne Basket
Maël Hamon-Crespin (20 years old, 2.06 m) is preparing to change clubs but not divisions. According to our information, the Thionville native should continue his development at Champagne Basket, as his contract with SCABB expires. He will share the power forward position with Eddy Kayouloud, who recently signed.
After prematurely ending his NCAA journey in December 2022, the former Pôle France player joined Paris Basketball in January 2023, where he mainly played in the U21 league. The following summer, the shooting power forward officially launched his career at Saint-Chamond by signing a two-year contract. In Loire, he had two statistically similar seasons (9.9 points in 2023-2024 then 10.3 points this season), averaging 35.4% from three-point range on 5 attempts per game. He wants to continue his development under Vincent Dumestre’s guidance.
