Louka Letailleur sets his scoring record in Betclic ELITE against Cholet

A personal record in a suspenseful game

In a tightly contested match until the end, the northern player made the most of the minutes he was given. A trajectory already marked by strong performances

U16 European champion in 2024 with the French national team, Louka Letailleur had already distinguished himself earlier in the season. In mid-October, he notably scored 41 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in youth competition against Boulazac, demonstrating the extent of his offensive potential when given increased responsibilities.

BCM’s young players also in the spotlight

The weekend was generally positive for BCM’s young prospects. Soren Bracq (6’4″, 18 years old) recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists against his former club. Meanwhile, Romain Valakou (6’3″, 19 years old), who will celebrate his 20th birthday this week, was not used with the professionals, but stood out in youth competition against his former Cholet club, with a complete line of 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, despite his team’s loss (77-84).

Nice moments while the club’s pro team from the Opal Coast is on the edge of the relegation zone with three wins. The youth team is also having a mixed season, in eleventh place with a record of 5 wins in 14 games.
