Justine Loubens joins Tarbes: new step for the Pole France prodigy

Justine Loubens (1.84m, 17 years old) will discover La Boulangère Wonderligue next season. After three years of training at the Pole France Yvan Mainini, the wing has signed with Tarbes Gespe Bigorre to continue her development at the highest national level. The daughter of Laëtitia Loubens-Moussard thus returns to her native Southwest.

From L’Isle-Jourdain to TGB via Pole France: a promising trajectory
After a convincing 2024-2025 season in LF2 with Pole France (7.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1 assist in 22 games), Justine Loubens continues her path to the elite with a signing at Tarbes. The Bigourdan club, known for its expertise in developing young players, will offer her the opportunity to evolve in La Boulangère Wonderligue and gain experience in a competitive environment.
Originally from L’Isle-Jourdain, having gone through Pole Occitanie then GOTB (Colomiers/Tournefeuille), Loubens shone from the early stages of her development. She notably made her mark at the Tournament des Demoiselles, where she finished as top scorer and MVP. In September 2022, she joined INSEP, joining the best players of her generation.
Future international
In 2024, she was one of the standouts of the U17 French team that reached the World Cup semi-finals. Her name appeared in the tournament’s all-star five, proof of her influence on the court. Her wingspan, game reading, and activity on both ends of the floor make her a good addition for the 2025 playoff finalist.
With this new challenge at TGB, Justine Loubens will have the opportunity to confirm the hopes placed in her, in a club accustomed to revealing talent. A key step before, perhaps, joining the ranks of the senior French national team in the coming years, like her mother Laëtitia Loubens-Moussard – who played for Tarbes between 1998 and 2001 – before her.
