Limoges CSP faces uncertainty regarding Kenny Baptiste (2.04m, 24 years old). Still under contract until 2026, the former Le Mans forward has expressed his wish to leave the club. This situation has pushed management to explore options to anticipate a potential departure.

Among these options, one leads directly to a face well-known to Beaublanc’s audience according to Le Populaire du Centre: Hugo Invernizzi (2.01m, 32 years old).

A Former Beaublanc Player as Top Candidate

Having played for Limoges CSP between 2019 and 2022, Invernizzi maintains a good reputation with both fans and management. Since his departure, the Alsatian power forward tried his luck abroad before returning to Betclic ELITE with SIG Strasbourg. His last season was difficult, both collectively and individually, averaging 6.7 points with 38.9% shooting accuracy, 4.4 rebounds and 2 assists in 27 games.

Without a club since the end of the 2024-2025 season, he now represents a credible and available option for Limoges, to the point of being prioritized over other profiles like Carl Ponsar. However, nothing is finalized yet. Invernizzi’s return depends on Kenny Baptiste’s departure, who is looking for another club.
