Fenerbahce Beko needed a response, and they delivered in emphatic fashion. After dropping Game 1 at home 80-88, the Turkish powerhouse bounced back with a commanding 25-point blowout win in Game 2 on June 15, sending a clear message to Besiktas: this series is far from over.
Baldwin and Horton-Tucker Carry Fenerbahçe
The American duo was the driving force behind Fenerbahçe’s dominant performance. Wade Baldwin IV led all scorers on the night with 17 points, setting the tone and providing the offensive spark his team desperately needed. Right alongside him, Talen Horton-Tucker chipped in 16 points in a strong all-around showing that helped Fenerbahçe pull away decisively.
Together, Baldwin and Horton-Tucker combined for 33 points and gave Fenerbahçe the kind of high-level American backcourt production that Besiktas simply had no answer for. The margin of victory — 25 points — speaks to just how complete a performance this was from the Istanbul giants.

Besiktas Unable to Replicate Game 1 Magic
Besiktas had impressed in Game 1, winning 88-80 on the road to take an early series lead. But in Game 2, they never found their rhythm. Anthony Brown was the lone bright spot for the visitors, finishing as their top scorer with 17 points, but his efforts weren’t nearly enough to keep Besiktas competitive as the game slipped away.
The situation was made worse by the loss of Jonah Mathews during the game, a blow that further disrupted Besiktas’s rotation and any chance of mounting a meaningful comeback.
With the series now tied 1-1, both teams head into the remainder of the Turkish League Finals on even footing. Fenerbahçe will draw confidence from the sheer dominance of their Game 2 showing, while Besiktas must regroup and find a way to neutralize the Baldwin-Horton-Tucker combination if they hope to reclaim control of the series.
