Having played for Chalon and Hyères-Toulon among others, the Guadeloupe native has been shining for two seasons with Bursaspor in Turkey. Last year, he averaged 14.6 points with 49% shooting, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 28 minutes per game in the Super Ligi.
Capable of scoring bursts like his 25 points against Besiktas or his 27 points against Ankara, David Michineau also played in the FIBA Europe Cup last season. However, with his averages of 13 points, 2.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 steals, he couldn’t help his team advance from the group stage (six games).
At 31, Michineau strengthens an already deep backcourt that includes Elie Okobo, Matthew Strazel, Mike James, Jordan Loyd, Nick Calathes, and the latest star recruit: Nemanja Nedovic. If no departures occur, the Roca Team will have 16 players in its roster this season, including 6 JFL.
