A first season marked by outstanding performances
Showing remarkable consistency over his 56 games this season (out of 60 possible), Inglis finished the season strong. First by recording a triple-double (25 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists) despite his team’s loss to Kawasaki; then with a final game of 31 points and 10 rebounds to close out the championship.
His strong performances, along with those of former NBA player Gary Clark (15.1 points, 7.5 rebounds average) and former EuroLeague center Maik Kotsar (10.9 points, 8.1 rebounds), weren’t enough to help Yokohama finish better than 17th place (out of 24) in a competitive league. The French Guiana native will return next year, after leaving the European circuit in 2024.
One more glorious chapter in Damien’s Inglis crazy rookie season in Japan Big League.
This time besides doing it all on the floor, he needed to hit the Game Winner versus one of the best teams of the conference.
No problem!!
Keep thriving my guy 💪🏽💥💫#octagonfamily pic.twitter.com/UcvQaPbQqq

In 2023-2024, the former Milwaukee Bucks player was still playing in the Euroleague with Valencia. He averaged 8.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in his rookie season in Europe’s top competition. Before that, Inglis had won the EuroCup twice: with Valencia in 2023, and with AS Monaco in 2021.
