The Boston Celtics delivered a convincing performance Wednesday night at TD Garden, defeating the Indiana Pacers decisively with a score of 119-104. This victory allows the Celtics to bounce back after their close 104-103 loss to Detroit two days earlier.

Jaylen Brown was the main architect of this success, putting up 30 points and leading the Celtics’ attack with authority. The Boston guard imposed his rhythm from the start, chaining together aggressive drives despite double-team attempts from Aaron Nesmith and Jay Huff on the Pacers’ side.

A balanced offense against a depleted Pacers team

Sam Hauser and Neemias Queta perfectly supported Jaylen Brown by each adding 17 points to the Celtics’ tally. This offensive distribution demonstrates Boston’s roster depth.

The Pacers, hampered by the absence of Bennedict Mathurin (thumb injury), struggled to keep up with the pace set by the former champions. Pascal Siakam tried to keep Indiana in the game, but the Celtics’ collective effort proved too much.

Boston’s defense, second in the league with only 110 points allowed per game, successfully contained the Pacers’ offensive efforts. Neemias Queta was particularly active on both ends of the floor, grabbing defensive rebounds and providing deterrent presence in the paint.

This victory allows the Celtics (26-16) to strengthen their position at the top of the Atlantic Division, while the Pacers (10-34) continue searching for solutions in a difficult season. Boston will hit the road Friday night to face the Brooklyn Nets, looking to continue this positive momentum at TD Garden.
