After leaving Real Betis Seville as a free agent, Boris Dallo (6’5″, 31) chose to stay active by joining Saint-Quentin’s professional team from the start of preseason. Still without a contract, the wing player could even start the Betclic ELITE season in Philippe Da Silva’s roster against Boulazac this Saturday, September 27. For this to happen, his contract must be received by the National Basketball League (LNB) by Tuesday 6 PM!

A credible option to replace Jean-Philippe Dally?

SQBB just learned that Jean-Philippe Dally will be out for an estimated three to five weeks. In this context, the possibility of a medical replacement with Boris Dallo becomes likely. As a versatile player capable of creating with the ball in his hands at the 3 position, he would allow Giovan Oniangue to slide more to the 4 spot during Dally’s absence.

In 2022-23, with Cholet, Boris Dallo probably had the best season of his career. But since then, his experiences have been more unstable: barely used at ASVEL, he returned to Strasbourg during the 2023-24 season. Since then, the Nantes native completed a short stint with Cholet before trying his luck in Spain. He contributed to Betis Seville’s promotion (4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 16 minutes per game over 11 Primera FEB matches) to Liga Endesa.

A rich and unique career path

Born in Nantes and coming through the Federal Training Center, Boris Dallo quickly discovered high-level basketball with Poitiers and then Partizan Belgrade, where he won the Serbian championship in 2014. Since then, he has gained multiple experiences in France (Antibes, Strasbourg, Le Portel, Cholet, ASVEL) and abroad (Greece, D-League, Spain).

Now seeking stability, this true Swiss Army knife could find an opportunity at SQBB to restart his career while helping the club get off to a good start this season.
