Dee Bost (1.90m, 35 years old), the Bulgarian-American point guard well-known on French courts for his stints with Monaco, Strasbourg, ASVEL and Boulogne-Levallois, continues his career around the world. At 35, he has just signed with Libyan club Al Ittihad Tripoli, which competes in the national first division. A new challenge for the former Bulgarian international, who is discovering his 12th country in his professional career.

A stint in Iran for the Asian BCL

After playing last season in Iran and Qatar, with a brief passage in Spain, Dee Bost continues his impressive basketball world tour. The Concord, North Carolina native, who played college ball at Mississippi State, has signed with Al Ittihad Tripoli, a flagship club in the Libyan championship.

The experienced Bost has played in eleven different countries during his career: France, Lithuania, Montenegro, Poland, Turkey, Russia, Spain, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Qatar and Iran. In France, he particularly shined with Monaco, where he won the EuroCup in 2021, but also with Strasbourg, ASVEL and Metropolitans 92. In early June, he participated in the Asian BCL with Iranian club Tabiat Basketball. An adventure that ended on June 11 in the quarter-finals, with a double-overtime loss (93-94) against Japanese team Utsunomiya Brex.
