Xavier Rathan-Mayes was the standout performer of the night. The guard finished as the game’s top scorer with 20 points, adding 2 rebounds and 3 assists in 27 minutes of action. He set the tone for Bayern’s offense and consistently created problems for Bonn’s defense throughout the contest.

A Balanced Bayern Attack Overwhelms Bonn
What made Bayern’s victory all the more impressive was the depth of their scoring. Oscar Da Silva was a force in the frontcourt, contributing 17 points and 7 rebounds in just over 25 minutes. Nenad Dimitrijevic added 13 points and 6 assists, providing excellent playmaking from the backcourt, while Isiaha Mike chipped in with 10 points and Justinian Jessup contributed 8 points off the wing. Five Bayern players reached double digits or came close, making it virtually impossible for Bonn to find a single defensive answer.
Bonn’s efforts were not without merit. Alijah Comithier was their best player on the night, finishing with 18 points and 5 rebounds, while Joel Aminu added 16 points. Jalen Finch did his best to generate offense with 8 points and 5 assists. However, the collective firepower of the Bavarians was simply too overwhelming for the Telekom Baskets to contain.
Bayern’s dominant Game 1 performance is a testament to their roster depth and offensive versatility. With multiple players capable of stepping up on any given night, their squad presents a matchup nightmare for any opponent. Rathan-Mayes’ ability to lead the offense while others contribute consistently around him is a clear strength as the series progresses.
FC Bayern Munich now hold a 1-0 series lead and will be looking to build on this impressive start when the semi-final series continues.
