Wilson Jacques named U21 MVP of the season, ideal five revealed

U21 ELITE - Wilson Jacques has been named MVP of the U21 ELITE season. His coach Nicolas Croisy ends up as coach of the 2024-2025 season. The ideal five consists of Wilson Jacques along with Loïs Grasshoff (Le Mans), Marius Balanca (Dijon), Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada (Nancy) and Maxence Lemoine (Strasbourg).

After the third quarter-final of the Future Trophy, the National Basketball League (LNB) revealed the U21 ELITE season awards. Wilson Jacques (2.13 m, 20 years old) was elected MVP of the 2024-2025 season.

Lemoine, Fodzo Dada, Balanca and Grasshoff join Wilson in the ideal five

The JL Bourg center, who finished champion of the division with a record of 28 wins in 30 games, ended with the fourth-best average evaluation (20.9) in the division. Surprisingly, he is not joined by his teammate Anatole Humeau (20.3 evaluation). However, we find the league’s top scorer, SLUC Nancy point guard Marc-Owen Fodzo Dada (23.9 points, 24.3 evaluation) and Le Mans Sarthe Basket wing Loïs Grasshoff (1.99 m, 20 years old). Another point guard makes this ideal five, namely SIG Strasbourg’s Maxence Lemoine, while Marius Balanca (2.00 m, 20 years old), who just eliminated Cholet in the quarters with 28 points scored, completes this small-ball five.

Nicolas Croisy named U21 coach of the season

Regarding the coach of the season, unsurprisingly it’s Nicolas Croisy, the coach of French champions JL Bourg who will look to achieve the double this weekend by winning the Future Trophy in Bourg-en-Bresse. It starts with the quarter-final victory against SIG Strasbourg this Friday evening.
