Vyacheslav Bobrov joins Dinamo Bucharest after VEF Riga stint

Dinamo Bucharest has just announced the arrival of Vyacheslav Bobrov for the upcoming season. The 32-year-old Ukrainian international brings considerable European experience to the Romanian club, having played in numerous championships throughout his career.
A versatile player with impressive statistics
Bobrov comes off a remarkable season with VEF Riga, where he won the Latvian-Estonian Baltic League title and was named Finals MVP. In the BCL, Bobrov contributed in 6 games averaging 8.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks.
Three stints in France
A regular member of the Ukrainian national team since 2012, Bobrov recently participated in the European pre-qualifiers for the 2027 World Cup, averaging 10.3 points and 5 rebounds. This international experience, which began with youth teams in 2012, demonstrates his longevity at the highest level.
His European journey includes three stints in France (with Nanterre in Betclic ELITE, Orleans in ELITE 2, and Quimper in NM1), as well as in Latvia, Lithuania (Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys), Spain (Fuenlabrada), Ukraine (Dnipro, BC Kyiv, Mariupol, Khimik) and now Romania. This multicultural experience makes him a valuable asset for Dinamo Bucharest, which is counting on his maturity and adaptability to strengthen its frontcourt in Liga Nationala.
