Budget

For the 2025/2026 season, SCABB has a projected budget of 4.7 M€ (compared to 4.6 M€ last year, +2%), making it the 4th largest budget among the 20 ELITE 2 clubs, with a payroll of 1.1 M€ (5th in ELITE 2) - see DNCCG announcement of October 6, 2025.

For the 2024/2025 season, SCABB had a projected budget of 4.6 M€, making it the 3rd largest budget among the 20 Pro B clubs, with a payroll of 1.0 M€ (7th in Pro B) - see DNCCGCP announcement of October 22, 2024.

Coach

On October 20, 2025, Guillaume Quintard was dismissed from SCABB after a catastrophic start to the season. With only one win in six Elite 2 games, the Loire club decided to part ways with their coach, who fell victim to the poor start and the loss to Challans, the bottom team.

On October 23, 2025, Julien Cortey became the new head coach of SCABB after the home game against Stade Rochelais. The Loire-based coach, born in Roanne, returns to his Loire department and a club he knows well, having long crossed paths with many local basketball figures.
