The San Antonio Spurs extended their perfect streak with a hard-fought victory over the Toronto Raptors (110-107) at Scotiabank Arena. This tenth consecutive win matches the franchise’s longest streak since the 2015-2016 season, when the team still had Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Tim Duncan in their ranks.
The game was far from easy for Mitch Johnson’s squad. Down by 15 points entering the final quarter (90-75), the Spurs had to dig deep to turn things around. An 18-2 run over six minutes allowed them to reset the scoreboard and rely on their collective strength.
For once, Victor Wembanyama didn’t shine offensively. The French center managed just 12 points on 3-of-12 shooting, including a disappointing 1-of-6 from three-point range. The Raptors applied very physical defense on Victor, preventing him from receiving comfortable passes in the paint and staying glued to him on the perimeter.
Despite his offensive struggles, Wembanyama maintained his defensive impact with 8 rebounds and 5 blocks, including a crucial block on Jakob Poeltl with 44 seconds remaining. His only three-pointer of the evening, from the corner during crunch time, proved decisive in sealing the victory.
Devin Vassell and the @spurs come from behind to win their 10th in a row, their longest streak since 2015-16!
De’Aaron Fox: 20 PTS (8 in 4Q)
Dylan Harper: 15 PTS, 5 REB, 7 AST, 2 STL
Stephon Castle: 13 PTS, 5 AST
Victor Wembanyama: 5 BLK https://t.co/n6oQX0k0iL pic.twitter.com/SFr0iGdueO— NBA (@NBA) February 26, 2026
The Spurs collective compensated for their star’s struggles. Devin Vassell took responsibility with 21 points and 5 three-pointers, while De’Aaron Fox added 20 points, including a spectacular left-handed floater from behind the backboard with three seconds on the clock. Dylan Harper also shined off the bench with 15 points and 7 assists, showing one of his best performances of the season.
This victory allows the Spurs (42-16) to maintain pressure on the Oklahoma City Thunder atop the Western Conference. With only two games behind the defending champions, San Antonio positions itself as a serious title contender. The team will attempt to continue their perfect streak Thursday against the Brooklyn Nets to complete an unblemished February.
