The Spanish center also grabbed 8 rebounds, including 4 offensive, while dishing out 3 assists. Spain displayed remarkable collective efficiency with 49% shooting from the field, including 14 three-pointers at 40% accuracy, and 29 assists. The Spanish defense also shined by forcing 18 Cypriot turnovers, converted into 21 points. With this 2-1 record, Spain is in a favorable position to qualify, though a tougher challenge awaits on Tuesday against Italy, followed by a final match on Thursday. Cyprus, still seeking their first EuroBasket victory with a 0-3 record, will have a chance to bounce back against Georgia in their next game.
