When Ty Jerome takes the ball in clutch moments, his teammates know they can count on him. The ice-cold composure that defines him today was forged during his childhood on AAU courts alongside Donovan Mitchell, before being cemented through a legendary college career at Virginia.
The New York-born point guard lived through one of the most memorable NCAA championship runs in recent history in 2019. A key contributor to Virginia's title-winning campaign, Jerome demonstrated a rare ability to elevate his game when the stakes were at their highest. His exceptional basketball IQ and long-range precision shone brightest in the defining moments of March Madness.
Selected 24th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft by Philadelphia before being traded to Phoenix, Jerome began his professional career on December 2, 2019. Since then, his journey has taken him from Oklahoma City to the Golden State Warriors and then to the Cleveland Cavaliers, a testament to his versatility and adaptability.
