At Duncanville High School in Texas, Holland established himself as a force of nature, compiling more than 1,500 points and 900 rebounds while leading his team to multiple state championships. His final high school season peaked with the 2022-23 Gatorade Texas Boys Basketball Player of the Year award, recognizing his averages of over 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. The accolades kept coming: 2023 McDonald's All-American Game, Nike Hoop Summit, along with his exploits on the national team where he claimed gold at the FIBA Americas U-16 and U-17 Championships.
Originally committed to the University of Texas, Holland surprised everyone by opting for the NBA G League Ignite, choosing the professional path over college basketball.
