The three top-ranked prospects for the 2026 NBA Draft have yet to officially announce their decisions. AJ Dybantsa (BYU), Cameron Boozer (Duke), and Darryn Peterson (Kansas) are all expected to declare their candidacy before Friday’s deadline.

According to the latest mock draft from USA TODAY Sports, Dybantsa is projected at number one, while Boozer and Peterson could be drafted second and third, respectively.

Other notable names have yet to announce their plans, including Nate Ament (Tennessee) and Isaiah Evans (Duke), who round out this list of last-minute undecided prospects.

Upcoming Key Dates

The draft lottery, which will reveal the selection order, is scheduled for May 10. This draft class is considered one of the strongest in recent years and will certainly shake up the standings for bottom-tier franchises.

For players who choose to enter the draft while maintaining their college eligibility, a second opportunity will be available. They will have until May 27 at 11:59 PM to withdraw and return to their respective college programs.

The 2026 NBA Draft will take place over two evenings, June 23 and 24, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, with the first round scheduled for June 23 and the second round the following day.
