Jordan Shepherd (1.93m, 28 years old) will wear Vichy’s colors again next season. The American shooting guard has extended his stay in Allier after a convincing season in ELITE 2. Averaging 13.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 42 games, he won over JAV’s management, who are betting on continuity.

Arriving in Vichy in summer 2024, Jordan Shepherd initially needed time to adapt before fully demonstrating his abilities. A natural scorer, he passed the 20-point mark six times in regular season, then shined in playoffs, notably scoring 20 points against Blois in Game 1 away and 22 points against ASA in Game 2.
These performances convinced the Vichy staff to continue the adventure with the Asheville native, despite several offers received by the American guard.
Beyond his athletic abilities, Jordan Shepherd distinguished himself through his professionalism and ability to integrate into the team. « Jordan will continue moving forward with us next season. He’s a player with remarkable human qualities, very professional and easy to coach, » declared Coach Dounia Issa. « His extension allows us to maintain continuity in our backcourt with a player who knows our systems. »
A sentiment shared by the player himself: « Very happy to return to Vichy and can’t wait to see you all in pre-season. Thank you all for supporting the team during the past season and let’s try to do just as well! » he stated through the club’s official channels.
With this extension, JAV ensures they keep an essential piece of their roster, both high-performing and exemplary, to continue aiming high in ELITE 2.
