Isaia Cordinier signed for three years with AS Monaco?

Like his father Stéphane, Isaia Cordinier (1.96m, 28 years old) will he work for AS Monaco? According to Corriere di Bologna, the shooting guard/small forward has reportedly already signed for three seasons with the principality club, for a total of five million euros.
This recruitment makes sense for the Roca Team, who had seriously approached shooting guard Nadir Hifi and fierce defender Nick Weiler-Babb. But the first appears to have chosen to stay in Paris while the latter is now announced to join Anadolu Efes Istanbul.

A steady rise during his four seasons at Virtus Bologna
Fresh off winning the Italian championship with Virtus Bologna, where he had been playing since 2021, Isaia Cordinier was among the best free agents in EuroLeague this 2025 offseason. The French player is coming off the best European campaign of his career (12.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 34 games played), following the 2024 Olympics where he proved himself at the highest world level. The French international, largely developed in Antibes, would join the 2025 EuroLeague finalist by signing with AS Monaco. His name had been mentioned earlier this season with Real Madrid.
By bringing him in, AS Monaco would acquire a top-tier defender and energizer, capable of maintaining the athletic level and commitment that has characterized the Roca Team since their arrival in EuroLeague. Other star recruits, signed at a premium, are expected, such as interior player Nikola Mirotic.
