David DeJulius continues to establish himself as one of Liga Endesa‘s most feared competitors. The UCAM Murcie guard has been named Player of the Week for Round 26 after delivering a masterclass performance that showcased why he has become the undisputed leader of his team in just one season.

The American point guard earned the honor following his exceptional display in UCAM Murcia’s commanding 107-91 victory over Coviran Granada, where he recorded a personal-best efficiency rating of 38 points alongside 31 points and 11 assists.

A quarter-by-quarter masterpiece

DeJulius started the contest in fine form, contributing 4 points, 2 assists and an efficiency rating of 7 in just over 5 minutes of first-quarter action. The Detroit native then shifted into high gear during a dominant second quarter, playing the entire period and accumulating 14 points, 1 assist and 1 steal.

The halftime break seemed to disrupt his rhythm temporarily, as DeJulius managed a negative efficiency rating of -2 in the third quarter, failing to score during his four and a half minutes on court. However, the point guard saved his best for last, delivering a sublime final period that sealed his team’s victory.

DeJulius was simply unstoppable in the fourth quarter, playing eight and a half minutes of basketball perfection. He contributed 13 points and 8 assists while posting an efficiency rating of 19, generating 30 consecutive points for his team through baskets and assists to secure the win.

Historic achievement joins elite company

The guard’s final statistics were nothing short of spectacular: 31 points on efficient shooting (3/4 from the free-throw line, 8/11 on 2-point attempts, and 4/6 from beyond the arc), complemented by his Liga Endesa personal-best 11 assists.

This performance places DeJulius in extremely exclusive company. Throughout Liga Endesa history, only four players had previously achieved 30+ points and 10+ assists in a single game: Drazen Petrovic (34-10 in 1989), Tharon Mayes (32-10 in 1995), Andre Turner (34-10 in 1997), and Juan Carlos Navarro (31-10 in 2012).

The stellar week continued DeJulius’s exceptional form, having scored 41 points with an efficiency rating of 43 in European competition. Across his last two games with UCAM Murcia, he has accumulated 72 points, 17 assists and an efficiency rating of 82.

This marks DeJulius’s third Player of the Week nomination this 2025-2026 season, following previous honors in Round 3 (27 efficiency rating against La Laguna Tenerife) and Round 23 (33 against BAXI Manresa). His consistent excellence has elevated him to fourth place in the race for Liga Endesa’s leading scorer award.
