La Meilleraie wants more. With each appearance of Aaron Towo-Nansi (1.78m, 16 years old), the Cholet crowd gets fired up. This Saturday October 18, 2025, during Cholet Basket’s victory against Elan Chalon (98-79), the 16-year-old prodigy shone again. In just six minutes of play, he scored 8 points, including an incredible three-pointer, proving that talent knows no age.

Cholet Basket has its diamond in the rough

At 16, Aaron Towo-Nansi is already establishing himself as one of French basketball’s greatest prospects. Already standing out with CB’s Espoirs team with 24 points in the preliminary game, he once again seized his opportunity with the pros, contributing to Cholet’s third victory in four Betclic ELITE games.

His boldness and confidence are appealing. Interviewed by Ouest-France, the young Breton gave a simple but telling response about his mindset: « I always stay ready. On the bench I stay warm and encourage others. When the coach calls me, I have to be ready to play. »

A collective and promising victory for Cholet

Against a Chalon team known for its physical intensity, Cholet showed a conquering spirit, especially after halftime. « The last three quarters are a reference, » said the Cholet staff. With fluid and collective play, CB scored 60 points in the second half, symbolizing their rediscovered basketball.

While Towo-Nansi’s youth brings freshness, it especially embodies a collective dynamic. « The coach’s request is to bring freshness and energy when I come in. I need to keep going like this, » added the young guard, who was cheered by the crowd when his name was chanted.

The future is already unfolding in Cholet

With its success, Cholet continues to affirm its reputation as a development club. Aaron Towo-Nansi follows in an impressive lineage, already drawing attention from NBA scouts for the years to come.

The season is still long, but one thing is certain: in Cholet, the future is already present.
