Zielona Gora is heading to the Orlen Basket Liga finals. After two dominant performances to open the semifinal series, the Polish powerhouse wrapped up a clean sweep on May 31, defeating Arka Gdynia 96-89 in Game 3. The victory was hard-fought, but in the end, Zielona’s collective depth and clutch execution made the difference.
Garrison Delivers When It Matters Most
The game’s defining moment came with roughly 28 seconds left on the clock. Arka Gdynia had kept the contest alive deep into the fourth quarter, but Conley Garrison silenced any remaining hope with a cold-blooded 3-points that pushed Zielona’s lead from four to eight, 92-84. Okauru’s 30 Points Not Enough for Arka
Arka Gdynia did not go down without a fight. Mike Okauru put together a brilliant individual performance, pouring in 30 points in just 31.4 minutes — the best scoring line of any player in the game. Luke Barrett added 15 points, Jaroslaw Zyskowski contributed 13, and Kamil Laczynski orchestrated the offense with 12 points and 7 assists.

Despite that firepower, Arka could never fully break through Zielona’s defensive structure. The fact that Okauru’s 30-point effort still resulted in a seven-point defeat speaks to the collective solidity Zielona displayed throughout the series. When Gdynia pushed, Zielona responded — and Garrison’s late 3-points was the clearest illustration of that composure.
