Somto Okafor (Spain / UCLA) — 23 points on 8-of-9 in the quarter-final

Somto Okafor arrived in Stockholm as part of defending champion Spain, and she has not looked out of place. The 1.75m guard/swingman, born in 2008 and headed to UCLA, is averaging 14.6 points per game through the tournament.

Her quarter-final performance was particularly eye-catching: 23 points on 8-for-9 shooting, lifting her scoring average to 20.4 points across that stretch of games. She also has gold at the 2025 U20 Women’s EuroBasket on her résumé, making her one of the more decorated teenagers in the field.

Sofia Zuccon has quietly put together one of the most statistically consistent tournaments in the rebounding column. Anna Gardziella (Finland) — 23 & 11 to reach the semis

Anna Gardziella delivered when Finland needed her most.
