The Ottawa BlackJacks survived a serious scare from the Scarborough Shooting Stars on June 23, 2026, holding on for an 88-86 win in CEBL action. It was a wire-to-wire battle that came down to the final possessions, with Ottawa ultimately finding enough firepower to escape with the narrow victory, ending a 6 game win streak for Scarborough.
Harmon and Fudge Carry Ottawa’s Offense
Justin Harmon, who also plays for the Salt Lake City Stars in the G-League, was outstanding for Ottawa, finishing with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in just over 32 minutes. Right alongside him was Alex Fudge, a Sioux Falls Skyforce product, who delivered 22 points and 8 rebounds in under 30 minutes. Together, the two formed a dominant tandem that Scarborough simply could not contain throughout the game.
The supporting cast also played its part. Matthew Cleveland contributed a well-rounded 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Kobe Elvis ran the offense efficiently with 11 points and 10 assists. Javonte Smart added 11 points and 7 rebounds off a solid shift, giving Ottawa genuine depth across the lineup.
Scarborough Pushed Hard But Fell Short

Frank Mitchell provided a strong double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in under 25 minutes, while Kellen Tynes chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. Khalil Miller added 10 points and 6 rebounds in limited time, and Anthony Walker contributed 8 points and 4 rebounds. Scarborough had multiple contributors, but could not find the decisive play when it mattered most.
