Filou Oostende has seized control of the BNXT League Finals. After losing Game 1 at home, 100-83, Oostende has won the last two games to lead 2-1 heading into Game 4 on June 11. The scoring has been compressed throughout the series: Antwerp’s 100 points in Game 1 has given way to 69 and 76 in the subsequent contests.
The American Pair Does the Work
Marcus Domask, a 6’6″ wing, scored a game-high 20 points on 24 minutes of playing time. Silas Melson, the American point guard, added 16 points in the same amount of time. That’s efficient offensive output in a tight game. Noam Yaacov orchestrated the offense with 13 points and 6 assists in 25 minutes. Andre Gustavson scored 10, and Moussa Noterman chipped in 7 points and 5 rebounds.
Antwerp’s Firepower Fades
Joel Murray managed 12 points for Antwerp, while Niels De Ridder (11 points, 4 rebounds) and Rasheed Bello (10 points, 5 assists) contributed secondary scoring. The Giants couldn’t find much else beyond that. Yoeri Schoepen and Enoch Cheeks provided minimal offensive impact.
Oostende won the last two games by a combined 15 points. Antwerp faces an elimination game at home on June 11.
