The Slovenian club Cedevita Olimpija has officially announced David Skara’s signing for the 2025-2026 season. A great step forward for someone who spent several seasons in the French championship, both in Pro B and Betclic ELITE.

After coming through Zadar’s youth academy, Skara continued his development in the United States at Valparaiso and then Clemson in NCAA. He started his professional career in Spain before moving to France in summer 2020. He played for Denain, Nancy, Champagne Basket and Le Portel (2021-2022), before leaving for Croatia to play for Split.

During the 2024-2025 season in the Adriatic League, he averaged 12.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 29 games. He was the 14th best rebounder in the league and had the second-best efficiency rating on his team.

« I am happy and extremely grateful for the opportunity to play for Cedevita Olimpija. I can’t wait to join the team and play the first games, » he stated upon signing.

He will share the power forward position with Cameron Houindo, a 17-year-old French prospect, who just completed a promising season with France’s National Training Center in Nationale 1. A great opportunity for the young French big man, who will be thrown into professional basketball in EuroCup.
