Anadolu Efes Istanbul is interested in Ömer Yurtseven, whose contract with Real Madrid expires

Ömer Yurtseven will be a free agent in a few days and has attracted the interest of Anadolu Efes Istanbul.
Anadolu Efes Istanbul is closely monitoring the situation of the Turkish big man, who finished the season with Real Madrid, before playing for the Golden State Warriors and Panathinaikos.
There is strong interest and ongoing discussions between Anadolu Efes Istanbul and Ömer Yurtseven.
Omer Yurtseven is a Turkish center who developed through the youth system of Fenerbahçe before moving to the United States to play college basketball at NC State Wolfpack and later Georgetown Hoyas. After going undrafted in 2020, he earned his way into the NBA, spending time with the Miami Heat and Utah Jazz, where he became known as a strong rebounder and efficient scorer around the basket.
Following three NBA seasons, Yurtseven returned to Europe in 2024, joining Panathinaikos and competing in the EuroLeague. A longtime member of the Turkish national team program, he has represented Turkey at several youth and senior international tournaments. In 2026, he briefly returned to the NBA with the Golden State Warriors before continuing his career in Europe with Real Madrid.
